Mangaluru: The drought-hit Mangaluru city is out with its yet another unchanging face. As the city received heavy rains over the last few hours on Wednesday, June 8, several roads and localities went inundated, leaving people in ‘troubled water’.

The water started gushing into Yeyyadi Pump house and nearby areas.

The situation on the plush KS Rao Road was the same. The area which has City Centre Mall witnessed water logging as well.

After arrival of monsoon, the Corporation personnel were seen clearing drains in most of the wards. However, this has not brought much relief to the people as water continues to gush on roads. The situation in low-lying areas has been worse.
