Bantwal: The driver of a lorry who lost control over the vehicle following break failure suffered serious injuries after it toppled near SVS college in Bantwal here on August 23.
Abhilash(40) is identified as the driver. Cleaner Mansoor escaped with minor injuries.

The poultry-waste laden lorry was heading from Loretto and when it reached SVS college, driver lost control due to break-failure. At the same time college students who were waiting for the bus, were warned by the driver and the cleaner about break failure and asked them to move away. The students ran for life and saved themselves. Within minutes the lorry hit the part of the small hillock and toppled.

Bantwal traffic police have registered a case in this regard.
