Mangalore: The DRI officials today caught a passenger, who was trying smuggle in 580 grams of gold consealed inside a condenser  which is present inside a television set.

The passenger caught is identified as Mohammaed Aslam, who hails from Kasargod. He arrived at Mangalore International Airport from Dubai by a morning flight.

The DRI officials, based on suspicion, checked the television set that was in his baggage and found the gold.

Concerned officials carrieng out the investigations.
