Moodbidri:  Dr. M. Mohan Alva was honoured with the title of Vidyavishara here yesterday by the Veeramaruthi Seva Sangh. 25 Retired teachers were also felicitated on the occasion of Sharada Mahotsav and silver jubilee of Veeramaruthi Seva Sangh here on October 2.

Venkataramana temple and Hanumantha temple administrator Umesh Pai presided over the function.
