Mangaluru: Making reference to the post Bengaluru bomb blast remarks, Health Minister U.T Khader advised Bharatiya Janatha Party (BJP) leaders not to politicize terror related issues.

“Let’s fight against terrorism together”, he told the leaders at a press conference held here in the city on Tuesday. If leaders will not end up politicising these serious issues, the terrorists will make profit out of it, he said.

On Monday, BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao had said that the Congress governments in the states are soft on the terror issues. Declining the allegations of few of the BJP leaders, who claimed that the state government did not work on the clues, passed on by the central government, he said “The state government can never take clues lightly related to the terrorism.”

Even in the past, when leaders in the cabinet came up with the valuable suggestion, CM was kind enough to accept them and implemented those suggestions. Moreover, we will continue to work for the welfare of the people, without restricting ourselves to one party, Mr. Khader said.

Earlier, a visibly-irked Siddaramaiah had replied: “I came to Bengaluru from Mysuru immediately after hearing about the blast, who says we are soft on the terror, our government is not soft against the terror. It is BJP, which is politicising the issue.”
