Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada Zilla Vikhaya Rakthadani Balaga came to the rescue of Prabhakar Nayak, who was in urgent need of blood to undergo treatment at a hospital in Mangaluru.

Belthangady Nelligudde member of the Balaga- Mohammad Asif, Shamshuddin, Mohammamad Aris, Mufeed and Sameer donated blood at KMC Hospital.

To facilitate the blood donation, the Balaga members procured passes for vehicles to transport the donors to the hospital during the lockdown.

Dakshina Kannada Zilla Vikhaya Rakthadani Balaga admin Tajuddin has called upon all the members of the Balaga to be alert and be ready to donate blood for emergency cases arising during the lockdown.
