Mangalore : BJP leader and former deputy CM KS Eshwarappa has alleged that the Congress organised the Samarasya Samavesh at Kalladka merely to target  RSS leader Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat.

Addressing media persons at the District BJP Office on March 11, Tuesday, he said  DK District in-charge Minister Ramanatha Rai must quit owning responsibility for the Kalladka clashes which took place right in front of his eyes. He also requested CM Siddaramaiah and Home Minister KJ George to  demand the resignation of Rai.

He further charged police of barging into houses of innocents in Kalladka to search for the  accused and alleged many innocents were arrested. He also said the BJP wants a judicial probe by a retired judge into the incident.

Commenting on the  challenge posed by Congress leader Janardhana Poojari to Gujarat CM and BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi,  he said  Poojari has no capacity to compete with  Modi. Referring to Yettinahole project, he  said  there was a need to make a careful study on the project.
Pratap Simha Nayak, District BJP President, Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP and others were present.
