Dharmasthala: Due to series of holidays including Monday, August 15 on account of Independence Day, Dharmasthala town is flooded with devotees.

Thousands of people from different parts of the State as well as from outside are flocking the temple town to take darshan of the deity they adore.

Shravana Monday which falls on August 15 is considered as an auspicious day by few Hindus and this could be the reason for the increase in the number of devotees. Elaborate arrangements have been made to handle the rush in the temple town known for Shri Manjunatha.
