Mangaluru: The police have arrested two absconding accused in the daylight murder of Deepak from Daddi guri today, January 4.

Pinky Nawaz and Rizwan are the arrested. 

While the police had nabbed four suspects yesterday itself from near Mijaru in Moodibidri , a search operation was launched for the other two suspects in the murder.

Reportedly, Nawaz and Rizwan attempted to attack CCB Inspector Shantharam & PI Panambur to evade arrest, In retaliation the officers are said to have fired two rounds from their service revolvers. Nawaz and Rizwan suffered injuries in the incident and have been shifted to hospital for treatment.

A case has been registered at Bajpe Police station.
