Moodbidri: Alvas women wrestlers have won highest number of medals in the State level Mysore Dasara and Akhila Bharath Women Wrestling tournament.

They won 5 gold, 4 bronze total 13 medals in state level Dasara tournament and in national level they have won 3 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze in total 8 medals.

The tournament was held from September 25 to October 1.
