Bantwal :The service road at BC Road is dotted with numerous potholes making travel on this road a nightmarish experience.

The potholes are large enough for the tyres of the two-wheelers as well as four-wheelers to get submerged.

With rains lashing the area since the past few days these potholes are changing their size and depth with the passing of each day and  have turned into virtual puddles in turn risking the lives of pedestrians as well as motorists.  It is also causing traffic jams on the road.

NH authorities had done patch work which did not last as usual. Then Rickshaw, car drivers and the Bantwal city police attempted to fill the potholes with redstones.

There has been an increasing demand from the public, particularly motorists to free the road of the potholes. Will the pleas move the authorities to action?
