“Those who come to power in the name of their father speak like Yathindra Siddaramaiah,” says CT Ravi

BJP leader CT Ravi has reacted sharply to Yathindra Siddaramaiah’s objectionable statement against Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Yathindra Siddaramaiah termed the Union Home Minister a person with a criminal background and goonda while addressing party workers in Hanur in Chamarajanagar district on Thursday.

Coming down heavily on Yathindra, Ravi said those who come to power in the name of their father or the strength of their father speak like this. “What can we expect from such people? Did he do party-related work in his life?” asked Ravi.

How can he understand the pain of an ordinary party worker who gives his life to party and ascends in the field, as he did nothing to party workers or did not do any party-related work?

Yathindra came to power just because of his father; he has no identity; he may be a doctor, but apart from that, he has no identity of himself; without Siddaramaiah, he is nothing. They cling to the power; if they were unseated from it, they would not be found anywhere else.

Amit Shah was the president of a booth in 1982, and then his father, Siddaramaiah, was not even elected as an MLA. Yathindra became MLA with the money power of his father, said Ravi.

Ravi said that when he was student leader, a false case was registered against him; does that mean he is a goonda? Similarly, the case against the Home Minister was a false one, and the court gave him a clean chit in that, he said.
