Mangalore:In a fresh development, the District and Sessions Court has prohibited a Kannada TV Channel from airing any programme  or report against Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala  and the institutions run by him.

The  order comes in the wake of a petition filed in the court by advocate PP Hegde on behalf of Dr Heggade. Here it is worth mentioning that the private TV channel had aired a programme wherein the family of Sowjanya and some others had hurled allegations against the Heggade family and accused them of being behind the Sowjanya murder.
