Mangalore :In a sensational double death a couple was found dead at a Konaje Mangalore University campus quarters,  here on Sunday May 18.

The deceased are Tilaka (52) resident of Subramanya and Ramappa (50), from Madikeri. Both were working in the University as attenders.

It could be a murder-cum-suicide, a double murder or a double suicide which might have taken place three days ago.

In most likelihood Ramappa might have killed Tilaka who was staying in the University quarters before hanging himself. Reports say that Tilaka who is married to Praveen had fallen in love with Ramappa.

Vasanth, a localite informed police after he sensed foul smell coming from the quarters and found the bodies.

Police commissioner R Hitendra conducted the investigation.
