Mangalore, May 18: Congress state Minister B Ramanath Rai accepted defeat in the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections and said that success and failure are two faces of a same coin. Questions linger on how BJP will manage to live up to the hopes and trust of the people.

During the press meet he congratulated all the party leaders and supporters who worked in this election. He also expressed his respect towards people’s judgment in the unexpected defeat of Poojary.

Further he said that we have to respect the mandate sedately. In the elections both victory and failure is common but we accept both success and failure.

DK District President Ibrahim Kodijal, City Corporation Mayor Mahabala Marla, Kallige Taranatha Shetty, Ivan Dsouza,Nazeer Bajal were also present for the press meet.
