Congress resorting to caste politics : Pratap Simha Nayak

Mangalore : DK District BJP President Pratap Simha Nayak has alleged that the Congress was trying to garner votes by creating a rift between different castes in turn hindering communal harmony.

Speaking to reporters at the District BJP office on March 24, Monday, he said the BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi was not seeking votes in he name of any caste or community but was seeking votes for the development of India. 
Nayak further also charged the Congress of diverting public attention from various issues of national importance. Alleging that the UPA government was  involved in a string of scams since the past ten years, he said people re today questioning the Congress for the economic slowdown and for the failure , failure to protect the borders  and check infiltration.

On this occasion BJP candidate for DK and sitting MP Nalin Kumar Kateel released a CD ‘Saadhaneya Haadiyallondu Kiru Nadige’  on his achievements during the past five years.

Former minister Kota Srinivas Poojari, former MLA Yogish Bhat, MLC Capt. Ganesh Karnik and Election Publicity wing Working President Rukmaya Poojari were also present.
