Mangalore : The Congress government has failed to curb corruption in the nation, alleged former MP Tejaswini Ramesh who has recently joined the BJP.


Addressing press persons at the District BJP office on March 17, Monday, she also said the Congress lacked good leaders and therefore has failed to announce its PM candidate.
The poor policies of the Congress has affected the nation and has disappointed the people, she alleged. Showering praises on BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi, she said the entire nation is hoping to see him as the next prime minister and added the nation can be a super power if a leader like Modi became the PM.
She also urged the people to support BJP candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel in the upcoming elections.
Tejaswini Ramesh said she joined the BJPP without any expectation and would work for the party and accept whatever duty was entrusted to her.
“The Congress wants only Muslim votes,” she alleged and criticised the party of appeasing the minorities.
The former MP further accused the Congress of organising the Harmony Meet at Kalladka merely to criticise senior leader Kalladka Prabhaker Bhat. On the reinduction of former CM Yeddyurappa to the BJP, Tejaswini Ramesh said the senior leader has realised his mistakes.
Former deputy mayor Shakeela Kava, BJP leaders Pushpalatha Gatti, Shantha R, Sulochana GK Bhat were present at the press meet.
