Udupi: The Congress candidate for Udupi-Chikmagalur Lok Sabha constituency Jayprakash Hegde and BJP candidate for Udupi-Chikmagalur Lok Sabha constituency Shobha Karandlaje’s submitted their nominations on Wednesday March 26.
The movable and immovable asset as per the affidavit accounts:
As per the affidavit submitted during the nomination a total income of Hegde and his wife is Rs 997180 and Rs 963060 respectively. Hegde owns movable asset worth Rs 25, 84,288 lakh and his wife owns Rs 37, 31,445 lakh. The total amount of immovable asset owned is Rs 7, 53, 58,840 crore whereas Karandlaje has movable property worth Rs 5, 10, 89,452 crore and immovable property worth Rs 2.10 crore.
Hegde has shares worth Rs 250000 in hotel industry, while his wife has shares worth Rs 241000. Hegde also owns the LIC policies worth Rs 97436 and the wife has three LIC and Birla Insurance policies worth Rs 106715, Rs 563092 and Rs 69334 respectively. He owns vehicle Toyota Corrola Altis, 2011 model worth Rs 1747290 lakh.
Hedge has 25 grams gold worth Rs 62500 and his wife has 950 grams of gold ornaments worth Rs 2375000 lakh. His silver assets are around 1400 grams worth Rs 65000.
Hegde owns 6.68 acre worth Rs 2424840 lakh and 5.87 acres worth Rs 1761000 at Kundapur taluk. His wife owns 3.6 acres worth Rs 1840000 lakh, 0.71 acres land worth Rs 3575000 and 0.63 acres of land worth Rs 315000. Jayprakash Hedge owns the inherited property worth Rs 18513000 and his wife is Rs 8630500 lakh respectively.
Hedge has loan of Rs 8458087 lakh and his wife has loan of Rs 8141369 in financial institutions.
Shobha Karandlaje owns gross total value of Rs 51089452 crore, has Rs 1.76 lakh hard cash. Her gold assets are around 1000 grams which is worth Rs 2700000 lakh, besides 650 grams of gold ornaments. She has 1400 grams of silver and 220 grams of silver articles as well.
She owns Toyota Fortuner 2010 model worth Rs 12.35 lakh and 2013 model Toyota Innova worth Rs 13.86 lakh. Her income was Rs 17, 62,570 wherein she has given advances and loans up to Rs 33683363 crore to Kapila Manjushree apparels.
She has four LIC insurance policies worth Rs one lakh, Rs 70000, Rs 50000 and Rs 40000 each. Besides she also has Birla Sun Life Insurance policies worth Rs 9 lakh.
Her deposits in various banks include Rs 438796 lakh in Apex bank, Rs 446362 lakh in Canara bank, Rs 7538970 in Federal bank and Rs 654132 lakh in ING Vysha bank respectively. Besides she has bonds and shares worth Rs 50000 in Kapila Manjushree apparels.
She has four insurance policies totally worth Rs 2.60 lac with LIC. She also has two insurance policies worth Rs 9 lac with Birla Sun Life Insurance, and has given a loan of Rs 9.5 lac. Her property in Puttur 15.5 cents of land worth Rs 2 crore, and 50 x 80 site in Bangalore’s HSR Layout worth Rs 10 lac.
