Mangaluru: Countering a poll survey done by a private agency which predicted the poll results favouring BJP in coming elections, MLC Ivan D’Souza said that Congress would win all the seats in Coastal Karnataka as per the internal survey by the Congress party.

In state, Congress will get 43 percent increased vote share in coming elections, he claimed. “People have lost faith in BJP due to their infighting in the party and people will elect Congress to the power because of its government’s various developmental programmes. Congress will work for the election based on the social development programmes given by the government. From booth level, party workers are promoting the developmental programmes of the government. But BJP will fight for the election in the name of Narendra Modi though union government has failed to work out developmental programmes for the people,” he said.

He also added that C-fore pre-poll survey report had predicted that Congress would get 120-132 votes and BJP 60-72 votes in the coming elections.

On Mangaluru Chalo, Ivan said that BJP’s rally was an utter flop. They had expected nearly one lakh activists for the programme but the number was too less, he added.
