Mangaluru: After 53 journalists tested positive for COVID-19, Mangaluru Commissioner of Police Dr P S Harsha asked the members of the media to take utmost care about their health and assured that they would be provided with face shields.

Appealing to the journalists to take care of their safety, Harsha said on Monday, April 20, that he would procure face shields which can be used along with a mask. Journalists can collect the same from the Urwa police station on Tuesday, April 21, between 11.30 am and 1 pm.

Dr Harsha also asked the journalists to carry their identity cards issued by their respective media houses when going out to the field for reporting.
