Mangaluru: The students of a government school in Moodushedde had a lucky escape after a coast guard during gunfiring training session reportedly misfired at the school classrooms here on Friday.
However, no student was injured in the mishap.

The incident took place on Friday, when a coast guard personnel was undergoing training session in open ground which is few meters away from Dakshina Kannada Government Composite High School misfired and the bullets broke the window panes of the two classrooms.

According to reports the open ground is often being used by the police and coast guard personnel for arms training.
