Mangaluru: The Coast guard have arrested one person who was allegedly selling ganja at the  Bailu Dakke near old Bunder. The security personnel have recovered 2 kg ganja worth Rs 40,000.

The arrested has been identified as Mohammad Ashraf. Earlier in 2011 he was arrested for the same reason. The arrested have been produced before the court and sent to judicial custody till December 1.

During interrogation he revealed to the police that the ganja was supplied from Uppala.

Manjunath Shetty, DySP Coastal guard, Police inspector Gangi Reddy, ASI Bhaskar Shetty, Head constable Madhava, staff Nasir and Rafeeq carried out the operation.
