Mangaluru: The family members of the police firing victims met with Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa when he arrived at the Circuit House on Saturday, December 21.

They were accompanied by Congress MLA U T Khader, MLC Hareesh Kumar, B M Farooq, former MLAs J R Lobo, Mohiuddin Bava and Muslim Central Committee members.

There are unconfirmed reports that the CM will meet those who were injured in Thursday’s violence and possibly announce compensation for them.

It can be recalled that Jaleel (49) and Nausheen (23) were killed in the police firing during the violence that broke out on Thursday.
