Mangalore: Under the aegis of the DK District Working Journalists Union and Press Club, Journalists of Mangalore paid homage to the renowned veteran journalist Dr MV Kamath on Friday October 10.

Dr MV Kamath (93), also the former chairman of Prasar Bharati had breathed his last at the KMC Hospital Manipal on October 9.

Manohar Prasad, a senior journalist and Udayavani Mangalore Bureau Chief addressed the gathering on the occasion. He spoke about the life and contributions of MV Kamath to the field of journalism.

P.B. Harish Rai, President of Working Journalists Union, Ramakrishna, President of Press club, Ravindra Shetty, Srinivas Nayak and other journalists were present.
