Mangaluru: CID DIG Sonia Narang visited the residence of DySP M K Ganapathi in Mangaluru-Bejai new road on Monday as part of the ongoing probe into the latter’s suicide case.
As per sources, Narang had talk with Ganapathi’s wife and children for over seven hours. However, Narang refused to speak to the media on the issue.

It may be recalled that Ganapathi had ended life on July 7 in a hotel room in Madikeri after revealing in a television interview that former minister K J George and IPS officers AM Prasad and Pranab Mohanthy were harassing him at the professional level.

The suicide had sparked a sense of tension across the state and even Legislators stalled the Assembly proceedings over the issue.
