Mangalore: The festivities of Christmas has come a long way from being yet another religious festival to becoming a holiday season that we await all through the year, while the Christian community across parishes in city celebrated the Christmas eve with joy on Tuesday December 24.
With all of its hustle and bustle, the Christmas Eve captured the elegance and excitement of the city as the member of every parish partook in the celebration held in their relevant churches.
The harps of Carols by Candlelight and the bedazzled glare of every surrounding struck the festivity, as churches witnessed a large numbers to parishioners for the Christmas Eve mass.
The mass held in all the respective churches proclaimed the messiahs birth and the quintessence of Christmas was re-lived.
