Centre and state govts should work unitedly to combat terror, DVS

Bantwal: The central government is firm on  tackling terrorist issues and has directed the home ministers of every state to take action against terror outfits, said Union law minister D V Sadananda Gowda.

After attending the Krishi Mela organised by CPCRI in Vittal,  he spoke to media persons and said that mission against terror outfits is a serious issue and nobody should mix politics with it. Both centre and state governments should work unitedly to put an end to all the terrorist operations.

Centre will provide support to the state government and has already informed the state government to tackle terror outfits as Bhatkal is hiding place for many of the terrorists in the state.

“The messages spread in the name of terrorists in Puttur, proved that it was by miscreants. I have asked district police incharge to take action against them”, he said.

Answering reporters questions as to why parole has been granted to Sanjay Dutt, he said only because one is a celebrity there should not be excuse which is against law and it may force public to lose hope in law system. Its a serious issue and I will speak to concerned state government and resolve it soon, he said.

He also said that the present central government is committed to give justice to areca planters and “we will not allow ban on areca growers. I will personally look into this matter”, he said.
