Kasargod: A postgraduate student studying in Central University at Periya died after he slipped on the slippery floor of the hostel bathroom on October 2.

Vishwambharan, a resident of Thayannur is the deceased.

Vishwambhran, a Master of Education (M Ed) student sustained severe head injuries after he slipped and fell inside the bathroom of the student hostel.

The incident took place when the ill-fated student went to take bath.

He was rushed to the district hospital immediately but unfortunately succumbed.
