Bantwal: Case has been registered against a person who had posted images and messages demeaning the holy places of Mecca and Madina on social networking sites.Bantwal rural police are investigating the matter against one Dheeraj Vagga Kumar who had posted some images showing the two holy places in wrong light.

Mohommed Musthafa, a resident of Vagga had registered a case against Dheeraj for sharing those images on Facebook.

The complainant has said that the images hurt the Muslim religious sentiments and that such incidents will deepened the rift and also cause disharmony among religions. The complainant has sought immediate arrest of Dheeraj.
