Mangaluru: The Mangaluru 3rd JMFC Court has ordered the transfer of the sexual harassment case against city advocate K S N Rajesh to the District Sessions Court.

Previously registered at the Women’s Police Station in Mangaluru, the case accuses Rajesh of sexually harassing a law student interning under him.

With 110 witnesses and evidence presented by ACP Dinaker Shetty, the case had the accused seek relief from the High Court to drop charges.

However, the High Court canceled the petition, mandating the case to be heard in the trial court. Considering the severity of the charges, the Mangaluru 3rd JMFC Court has now transferred the case to the District Sessions Court.
