Puttur: The mutilated body of a car driver, who went missing a few days ago under mysterious circumstances, was found by the locals of Neerakatte village here on Sunday, February 21.

The family members of Mohammed Ismaeel, a resident of Valachil, have identified the body.
Police sources said that prima facie, it appears that Ismaeel was murdered.

His car was found abandoned near the highway in Neerakatte on February 18. The family members had registered a missing complaint at Uppinangady police station.
