Sullia: A multi state co-operative – a joint venture of the states of Karnataka and Kerala, CAMPCO distributed cocoa and pepper saplings to the farmers at Sullia branch on June 24.

The saplings were handed over to the farmers by the director of CAMPCO Krishna Prasad Madthila. Member cultivators Rambhat P.Shivram, Ganesh Rai, Naveen Rai Menaala, Sampth Shetty, Dasappa Thudiyadka and Girija Shankar Thudiyadka received the saplings from him.

The co-operative is well known as it procures arecanut and cocoa grown by member cultivators and if necessary, from other growers on an agency basis or on outright purchase basis.

Few staff members from campco were present during distribution.
