Mangaluru: As per the orders of the Election Commission the election campaigns of candidates concluded on a high note on May 10. Congress, BJP and independent candidates held roadshows and rallies to end the capaign for the present Karnataka assembly elections.

Congress party’s roadshow led by MLA candidate JR Lobo traversed from Nehru Maidan through Hampanakatte, PVS Junction, Lady Hill and culminated at Urwa Market Maidan.

Bharatiya Janatha Party’s candidate D Vedavyas Kamath along with his supporters organised roadshow moved from PVS Circle through Bunts Hostel, Jyothi, Hampankatte and roadshow culminated near Clock Tower.

Independent candidate Srikar Prabhu also held a roadshow campaign in Bejai along with his supporters. He ended his campaign with a public convention at the Nehru Maidan in the evening.

Huge crowds marched in support of their respective leaders to grab the voters attention.
