Burglars strike Jewellery Shop at Uduma

Kasargod: The burglars struck a jewellery shop located at Uduma, near here and decamped with about two-and-a-half kilograms of silver ornaments, being reported on Tuesday July 23.

The burglars struck Pushpalata Jewellery, owned by K Ganesh, residing at Kalnad, near here and decamped with silver ornaments.

The burglary was came to light, when the nearby shopkeeper noticed the shutter of Pushpalata Jewellery was broke open at about 7-00am on Tuesday.

Several jewellery ornaments were burgled from the jewellery shop.

The police suspect the burglary was carried out on Monday July 22 night, after the shopkeeper Ganesh closed its shutter and left home at 8.00pm.

Bekal police registered a case in this regard and investigations are underway.
