Bantwala: An active electric wire was broken and lying open on the steets which has lead to the death of a youth. This incident occured at Farangipethe today morning.

The boy has been identifed as Milan(19) who is the son of Vasanthi who is a Member of Pudu Grama Panchayt. This incident occured early in morning, when Milan went to tie the cattel near his house. Milan is said have completed his B.E and had appiled for a job at various companies. Sources say, he had also recived an interview call from a private company in bangalore.

Locals angry over MESCOM :

Meanwhile over the death of the youth, the resident have showed their anger towards the people of the MESCOM department. The reseident say that they had prior intimated the MESCOM department people regagind this live  electric wire fallen on the strrets , but it is due to their sheer negligence this illfated accient has occured.

In the morning around 6:15 this inncident took place and the Je was informed immediately, but arrived only at 8:00 . This made the residents fume with anger and they surroubded the JE, it was only due to the police intervenece the situation was brought in control.

It was learnt that few days back a cattel had died due to his broken live wire.
 
Former Zilla Panchayat member Umar Farooq and Farangipethe Sevanjali Prathishtana Kirshna Kumar Punja visited the spot . The Banwala police have registerd the case and further investigation is on.
