Mangalore: Under the initiative of Indian Redcross Society and Ladygoshen Hospital, the BPCL has donated one crore from the CSR Fund in order to upgrade the Blood Bank as Blood Component Separation Unit.

The details of the equipments will be rendered by the Technical Analyser along with the Indian Redcross Society as directed by the Deputy Commissioner.

On March 5, 2014 Keshav V Shenoy the executive director of BPCL will hand over the machinery to the DC in the presence of M Veerappa Moily, Minister of Petroleum and Natural resources.
