Mangaluru: The BJP Yuva Morcha will hold “Mangaluru Chalo” a massive bike rally demanding the state government to ban PFI, SDPI and KFD, resignation of State Minister B Ramanath Rai and handing over the murder cases of Hindu activists to CBI, said State President of the Morcha and MP Prathap Simha. The rally will reach city on September 7.
Addressing the media here on August 23, he said, “In the state, the rally will be flagged off from five places-Hubballi, Shivamogga, Mysuru, Bengaluru. Chikkamagaluru and it will reach Mangaluru on September 7. Nearly 10,000 BJP Yuva Morcha activists will take part in the rally. Since the past two years it is getting proven that PFI and KFD are involved in the murders of activists of Sangha Parivar. Hence we also demand to hand over the cases of murder of Hindu activists to CBI.
In June 2011, two youth were abducted from Mysuru Mahajana College for a ransom of Rs 5 Crore. Later, they were brutally murdered by the PFI activists. Even in the murders of RSS activists Rudresh, Prashanth Poojary, Raju, Vishwanath, Kuttappa and Sharath Madiwala, PFI activists are involved. All these murders are done with a strategy and there is a similarity in the pattern.”
Unfortunately, the Congress government led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah by withdrawing 175 cases against 600 PFI activists, is indirectly supporting them, he alleged.
He also informed that BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa would take part in the rally and a memorandum submitted to DC.
Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, District Yuva Morcha President Harish Poonja and others were present at the press meet.
