Moodabidri: Minutes before Chief Minister Siddaramaiah arrived in Moodabidri, the city police averted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers’ black flag demonstration against him here on January 7.

It is learnt that the BJP party workers were gathered at their party office premises to waive black flags against the CM.

But, the police, who were alert, prevented the activists from carrying out their demonstration and seized the black flags from the agitators. They also detained the protestors on the spot.
