BJP to organize ‘Vikas Parva’ marking two years of Modi govt

Mangaluru: On account of successful completion of 2 years of NDA-led Central government, Dakshina Kannada District BJP will organise a ‘Vikas Parva’ rally on June 8 at Town hall, Mangaluru.
Addressing the mediapersons, BJP district president K. Prathap Simha Nayak said that the central government headed by Modi has given efficient and transparent governance and that is evident by the transformation in the last 2 years as benefits have reached the public.

“We will be celebrating the achievements of Modi government by organising ‘Vikas Parva’, a massive rally with emphasis on building a strong India on June 8 at Town Hall at 3 pm,” he said.

He further said that, the world’s view towards India has changed and every Indian is feeling proud due to Modi government’s achievements in various fields such as railways, defense, external affairs and communication. There are more achievements of Modi government in the two year period than what Congress achieved in several decades during its rule.

“People have faith in the government today due to its clean and transparent rule and this rally is being organised to carry forward the message of Sankalp Parva which is a central BJP movement,” he added.

Nayak informed that Minister of State for the Ministry of Commerce & Industry Nirmal Seetharaman, Minister of state for Home Haribhai P Choudhry, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel and Former National President SC wing Dushyanth Kumar Gautham are likely to attend the rally as chief guests. Legislators Angara, Ganesh Karnik and Kota Srinivas Poojary are among the invitees along with former and present elected members of the government and the party.
