Mangalore:The district BJP unit staged a protest in-front of the Mangalore city corporation office to set right the basic requirements in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLC of Mangalore Shri. Monappa  Bhandari said that even though it has been 7 months since election of the corporation, instead of taking the charge of the corporation and responding to the problems of the common man, the Congress party is wasting time in the internal politics of the party and because of this the elections have not been taken place for the mayor and other administrative posts of the MCC.

Because of this the officers are running the administration as per their wish .Corruption is the highlight of the corporation and the basic functioning of the administration like issuing basic documents like birth and death certificates is not happening.

The drainages in the city are overflowing due to the blockage and measures have not been taken for waste management in the city.

Hence the BJP urges the Congress party to set right all the above issues and provide justice to the people of Mangalore.

The district BJP president K PratapSimha Nayak, Corporators Sudheer shetty, Raghuveer, Divakar and Roopa D Bangera were present at the occasion.
