Mangaluru: Social activist and former Bajrang Dal leader Mahendra Kumar alleged that the BJP and the Sangh Parivar leaders have been destroying the values of the Democracy and the Constitution.

Delivering keynote address at the 12th conference of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) at Town Hall he said, “the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is the real enemy of the Hindu religion and its followers. The leaders of the RSS provoke poor youth to resort to violence and when the poor youth go behind bars,  the RSS men distance themselves. The BJP and RSS is driving the nation on wrong paths.”

“The economy of the country has been collapsing due to the wrong moves of the BJP government. Though Narendra Modi has become Prime Minister of the country, the real administration is in the hands of the RSS,  which wants to drive India back towards a situation which prevailed during the pre-Independence era. Dalit and lower class people are being oppressed by the higher class people”, Mahendra Kumar added.

DYFI state president Muneer Katipalla, after inaugurating the conference stressed that the DYFI will never allow the country to be divided in the name of caste and religion. “The DYFI has fought for availing justice for the downtrodden people, which will continue in future as well,” he clarified.

DYFI district secretary Santhosh Bajal, district president B K Imthiyaz and other leaders like Jeevanraj Kuttar, Asha Boloor, Madhuri Bolar, Shrinath Katipalla among others were present.
