Mangaluru: The Bharatiya Janata Party organised the ‘Main Bhi Chowkidar’ rally which attracted thousands of people in the city on Tuesday, April 2.

People who participated in the rally wore saffron turbans. The rally was taken out from near Kudroli Gokarnanatha temple to Central Market via Alake and Car Street. Mangaluru South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath inaugurated the rally and said, “Each citizen of the country should voluntarily become a ‘chowkidar’ of the country to realise Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of rooting out corruption.”

BJP leaders Nithin Kumar, Prathapsimha Nayak, Gopalakrishna Herale, Sathish Prabhu, Rajendra, Poornima, Meera Karkera, Naresh Shenoy, Sandhya and Venkatesh among others participated.
