Mangalore: Dakshina Kannada district BJP leaders has demanded strict action against the Kavoor police personnels for assaulting a youth for no reason. “If we do not get justice, we will hold a massive protest”, said Dakshina Kannada BJP President Prathap Simha Nayak.

It is learnt that, Sharan(28), a resident of Moodushedde was allegedly assaulted by the KAvoor police. He is undergoing treatment in the private hospital.

Dakshina Kannada BJP President Prathap Simha Nayak, Ex-MLA Krishna J Palemar and Yogish Bhat met the victim in the hospital and assured him of justice.

The BJP unit has urged Police commissioner to take proper action against SI and constables for assaulting an innocent.
