Mangalore: In a press meet held in BJP office today, the district BJP President Mr.Padmanabha Kottari said “the hike in diesel and petrol prices has badly affected the common mans life, resulting in the increase in govt. bus fare”.He also said if the present govt. does not reduce the hike in price, then the BJP party will strongly protest and fight towards the betterment of the people.
He further stated that, there where few programs which were initated when the BJP party was in power and now have been completely scrapped by the present ruling party,and this cannot be tolerated and has asked the govt. to reinnitiate it .
“As the BPL card holders get Rs1/kg rice under a scheme, similarly APL card holders should also be benefitted” he said.
Others present at this event were, District Vice Presidents Mr.Nitin Kumar, Ms. Pushpalata Gatti ,Spokesperson Mr. Rajgopal Rai and Bantwal APMC President Mr.Nemiraj Rai.
