BJP anticipates one lakh people for Modi’s Mangalore rally

Mangalore: BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi will be addressing a mega election rally in Mangalore on Tuesday February 18, announcing the same a press meet was organized conveying the preparations for the rally on Wednesday February 12.

Taking this into consideration, the Dakshina Kannada district BJP has made elaborate arrangements to make it a big success. According to the Dakshina Kannada BJP leaders at least one lakh people from across the district will attend the rally at the Nehru Maidan in the city.

Simultaneously before his visit a “Rath Yatra” and a “Padh Yatra will be organized in 8 constituencies in the district. Around 34 committee have been made consisting of 3000 party members working towards the arrangements of the rally.

BJP party members such as Yogesh Bhat, Devdas Shetty, Kishore Rai, Captain Ganesh Karnik and other were present during the press meet.

According to political analysts and the BJP leaders, Narendra Modi is expecting a large number of Lok Sabha seats from Karnataka, UP and Bihar to realize his dream of becoming the Prime Minister. Last time, Karnataka delivered 19 Lok Sabha seats to the saffron party in the 2009 polls. Thus the rally will be held at Mangalore.
