BJP a party with differences: AK Antony

Kasargod : Union Defence Minister AK Antony has said that the BJP which is struggling with internal conflicts has become  a party with differences.

He was speaking at a public rally organised in Kasargod on March 30, Sunday in support of UDF candidate Siddique. Antony further claimed that the Congress has remained united and that the UPA government will come to power.

He countered the BJP claims that there was a Modi wave in the nation and alleged that the nation’s interest will be at stake if the agenda of BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi was implemented.

Commenting on the recent AK 47 remarks of Modi, Antony said such remarks are demoralising. He also predicted that the Congress led UDF will win majority seats in Kerala.

SK Sridharan, Kasargod District Congress President, MA Nellikunhu, Kasargod MLA,  Congress candidate T Siddique, Mangalore South MLA JR Lobo and several others were present. Lobo is also campaigning for the Congress in Kasargod.

The defence minister later attended a public rally at Kanhangad.
