Mangalore: A student of Bhatkal died in a ghastly road mishap that occurred at Mukka, ner Suratkal, here on Mangalore – Udupi national highway on Tuesday April 30.

The deceased has been identified as twenty-one-year-old Ummer A Mohtisham, a student of Anjuman Institute of Management and Computer Application, Bhatkal.  The critically wounded pillion rider is admitted in a hospital.  

The pillion rider has been identified as Mohammed Avon.  Both Ummer and Mohammed were riding in a motorcycle from Bhatkal to Mangalore while they hit a tanker that turned to right without any indication.

Suratkal police registered a case in this regard.
