Mangalore : Sekar Basu, Director of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre(BARC), Mumbai will participate as chief guest at the Third Graduation Day of St Aloysius College to be held on June 1.  Basu will award degrees to over 500 students at the  ceremony to be held at the  Loyola Hall of St Aloysius PU College.

The function will be presided over by Rev. Fr. Francis Serrao SJ, President, Mangalore Jesuit Educational Society (MJES) and Provincial, Karnataka Jesuit Province. Rev. Fr Swebert D’Silva, Principal of St Aloysius College, Rev. Fr. Denzil Lobo SJ, Vice-President, MJES and Rector St Aloysius Institutions and  Dr. A M Narahari,  Registrar  of St Aloysius College, will be the chief guests.

Basu will inaugurate the St Aloysius College Advanced Research Centre  at the College Teletorium on the occasion. He will also deliver a special lecture  at the function.
