Bantwal: Vittal police registered a case of missing young auto rickshaw driver who was identified as eighteen-year-old Shashi Kumar, a resident of Karai, near here.

Shashi has gone missing since October 31.  He had dropped the school children on October 31 evening in his auto rickshaw.  Meanwhile, he called his sister on November 1 to inform that he would not come home and has told not to trace him.  Soon after that call, he had switched off his mobile handset.  In spite of all the efforts to trace him have gone in vain, stated the police complaint lodged by a certain Tyagaraju K Adyadka, from Todikkana in Sullia taluk.

Vittal police registered a case in this regard and investigations are underway.
