Newskarnataka – Bantwal

Bantwal: People at BC Road in the taluk were in for a pleasant surprise on Wednesday June 11 when opposition leader in the TMC Govind Prabhu made an  effort to mitigate public hardships due to slushy roadside  in the area.

Prabhu had taken pains to get some lorry loads of sand mixture, to dump in those places where potholes  ad emerged  and had become slushy making it difficult for public to board buses.

This move by the opposition leader particularly when the TMC administration has chosen to neglect the problem by not even trying to find some temporary solution, has won public appreciation.

Local autorickshaw drivers were also seen lending a helping hand. Meanwhile there is a growing demand for the TMC to act and  ensure that the  monsoon does not cause much trouble at BC Road which is already plagued by several problems.
